2012+ front grill removal question

    There are 5 (yes, five) push-pins holding in the grill-surround...

    2 on the top, 3 on the bottom (1 on each corner & 1 in the middle).

    Wrong. The push ins on the bottom are for the bumper cover. There's no need what so ever to take them out. They have nothing to do with the grill. 2 push ins on the top. 2 bolts at the top. I did a write up on the grill conversion. Here it is.

    You can see in the 13th pic down that the push ins are still in the bumper cover.
