So I'm just itching for that tax return check to come. I can't go TOO crazy with it but several items are already going to be purchased :

Step bars (haven't quite decided yet)
    Vent visors (in channel)
    Roof rack (OEM)
    And some serious derping

So I'm browsing autoanything, Amazon and the like looking at bull bars and grill gaurds. Definitely want one with light mounts. If its not available in the dull black I'm looking for I'll simply paint it. The Westin bars seem decent as far as bull bars go but I'm not opposed to full wrap-around-the-lights style either. I saw the "Bumper" sticky thread but that's a bit more than I want to do. Hence I felt the difference warranted a different thread.
So please offer suggestions if you will. Thanks in advance.

IMO, I'd go with a smittybilt(N-fab) for both lightbar and steps. Both look alot cleaner versus the cheap bulkiness of westin bull bar and steps.

I have an Aries bull bar which is very similar to Westin. Aries might be just slightly cheaper. I've had it for about 6 years now. Nothing special about it.....After 6 years, it could use a paint job (pitting). It mounts my PIAA's and that's all I really care about. I probably wouldn't buy another one, just because....its kinda boring and everyone has one.

If you want a brush guard...I've had a WAAG on my 1st gen truck and that thing was great (cheaper alternative to a bumper). It took some pretty hard whacks when offroading - protected my OEM bumper.

You can't beat a real replacement bumper though....

Just say no to a Bull Bar. They make your truck look like it has a under bite. Go with the N-Fab. It looks much cleaner and you can mount 4 lights or a 40" LED Bar on top.

OEM roof rack for sure. They are great and versatile. I had one one my last truck.

No one has mentioned the Avid light bar yet? I like the look of those. X10 for no bull bar.
