I went offroading last weekend that included a lot of high-revving donuts. On the way home, my truck began to shift very peculiarly. When it would shift out of 4th gear (or into 5th gear, can't tell which), for about a second it behaves as if it was accidentally bumped into neutral. It revs up really high then finally kicks into the next gear. Did I just blow my transmission?! (Please, oh please, say no...)

I actually just flushed the transmission fluid no more than a month ago

Check the fluid, as you may have cooked it a little in the off road antics. Check the lines for leaks.

Didn't see any leakage. Maybe I should take it into my local auto shop?

It stopped shifting weird yesterday. Do I just hope it doesn't happen again?

    A little a this, a little a that...
Did you check the fluid? Don't risk further damage hoping that everything is ok.
