I was browsing around TRDParts4U and found the IRONMAN's rear leaf pack for only $226. I thought IRONMAN was curtailing their production in the US but regardless, I thought I got a great deal when I bought mine for $357 shipped about 2 mos ago from ToyTec but TRDParts4U is only a 20 min drive from me. Doesn't say how much lift but mine was around 2" inches of lift and couldn't be happier with the ride quality and performance.(Looks to be the same set as mine)

They say it's for a pair, not just one. That is a good price.

Anyone know if these are beefy enough to support a LEER or ARE topper?

Yes. IRONMAN rep informed me when I bought mine that it will handle about 20% more load than stock. Per rep: "approx 200kg" , which is 440lbs more than stock.

This is IRONMAN's response recently regarding rumors on them halting stock in the US ( copied from a recent thread):

"Just wanted to clarify that these aren't being discontinued in the US. We are currently going through a restructuring in the US and during that time stocks might be tighter, but needless to say our products will continue to be made and available in the US. "

I've got a question on these and AAL's in general. I was hauling a trailer for my son's Boy Scout Troop this weekend, something I'll be doing more of in the future, and it sagged my truck a lot. I've had the TSB done to add the leaf that it was supposed to have new, but will these or an AAL in general help me? I've already talked to the other Boy Scout Leaders about re-arranging the trailer so that there is less tongue weight to also work on the issue there.

    Thanks

    Edit:

I looked at the link closer and read through the thread a little closer and it looks like it'll give me 20% more capacity. But I assume I'll still need to re-balance the trailer as well.

AALs will lift the rear end higher while giving you some added load capacity, but its minimal. If you don't care about lift, just add some hellwig helper springs to your existing leaf pack. They can increase your load capacity by 500 or 1000lbs depending on which ones you buy. Most cost effective solution in my opinion.

$115 shipping by way of FedEx is a real bummer... Wish we Canadian guys had the option for regular USPS.

After the springs, U Bolts, 2 center pins, and new bushings the total comes out to $400. Slightly more than I was wanting to spend.

So this pack doesn't come with bushings or u bolts correct? Wanna give them a shot, just want to clarify what else I need to order.
Also, if I'm running oem replacement Kings in the back will they work with this pack?

    Correct.

I would look into some greasable shackles while you are doing it too...

Is FedEx the only option on the website, or did you speak with someone in person and they said the cannot ship via USPS?

I called regarding the bushings and if I only need to order once box or two. One box covers both springs. I then asked about shipping and she said that USPS doesn't ship leafs because they are too long.

I just said fuck it and ordered everything (bushings, U-bolts, pins) along with an emerg kit.

Figure this was a better way to go than the ICON progressive AAL pack I was originally thinking...???

    Thoughts on that?

    Cheers,

    Jay

wwwuuttt?? ..I didn't even noticed any markings and went by the pre-drilled brake line mounting locations on the springs. Didn't have any issues:
