Can anyone post a picture or two of where the bumper attaches on the lower portion of the sub frame? I am wanting to run this with a full set of skid plates and want to make sure this bumper will fit. Any input would be great or pictures would be amazing

I have one from the first production run of the 12-15 bumpers. It's been on my truck for almost a year and a half now and still doing well. Pics in my build thread. Or did you mean there's a newer revision for the 12-15s?

on their website it shows 2 added 1" shackle points [which I believe you have], was wondering how well this thing did under a true load/hard pull. and/or one that isnt a straight pull.

I'll check out your build now, thanks @TheNatural

I have one of the first production bumpers and it looks exactly like the images on their site. I have only done three pulls, two of them offset winch recoveries from a muddy ditch, with no problems at all. I haven't used the shackles yet, so I can't offer any insight as to their strength. My guess is that they'll be fine in any straight pull you're likely to try. They might bend in a hard side pull, but that's true of any kind of side pull, which you should avoid anyhow.

First hard pull with mine was a double-line back to one of the shackle mounts. Bumper performed flawlessly. For peace of mind, I added Relentless frame plates at installation. Probably overkill. http://www.relentlessfabrication.co.../05-tacoma-front-bumper-mounting-brace-plates

I think my shackle points are 3/4", so they may have made them beefier. I haven't had any problems with mine, but I can't recall any real hard off center pulls. I've had a few hard straight pulls and some less severe off center ones without any problems.

We made a few very minor changes but the main change was going to 1" shackle mounts. No real reason other than I prefer them, the shackles sit better in them. They are far more expensive and difficult to manufacture. We designed them from scratch and use the same one in all of our bumpers now.
