Have a new 13 DCSB 4x4 and I'm wanting like a 2" lift with some 18" rims and 285 tires. Does anyone have any suggestions on what lift or what size tire to run? Also what type of tire is recommended? I was thinking nitto trail grapplers or dune grapplers.

Eibach springs with bilsteins up front at .85 and either icons or wheelers progressive aal with overload in will give you a very good ride and a nice look with a slight rake. Not sure on your funds but you could also throw in a single aal, ride will just be a little stiffer. Not sure how 285s will work, that's a rather large tire, someone else should be able to chime in on that. I would stick with a 265 personally. Is your vehicle your daily driver?

Yes it is. Would 265 with 18" rims and 1" spacer work?

    Hello sir welcome to TW,

I see that you are an LEO(thank you for serving the community).

You wont get many suggestions from senior users on here because there is a search feature that you have access to on here that has a wealth of knowledge.

    Try search words like:

    Old man Emu
    Toytec
    Small Lift
    Vibrations after lift!
    Spacer lift problems!

    ;) good luck!

You won't need a spacer with 265s. 285s get tricky, depends on your wheel backspacing more than the lift. Expect to do a decent amount of trimming if you go the 285 route. Do some searching on here for 285s and you'll get plenty of information. I stayed with 265s to avoid any rubbing issues.
