    Hi Y'all,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I just recieved my 2014 Black TRD Sport last weekend. Love it so far. Mods, so far are Weather tech floor mats, and Plasti Dip Black wheels. Lean and mean.
Little history, I've had two toyota trucks in the past, a 84 toyota 4x4 extended cb and a 94 4x4 extended cab. Then had a Honda Element and a Mini JCW, Now back in a taco. WOOOHOO :D

Question for 2014 .. The tacoma brochure says it has a temperature gauge, I can't see it anywhere .. Is this a type of sorts in the brochure or am I blind..
    Thanks Ya'll

Congrats on the new truck. The temp gauge is a hotly debated item on here. Long story short Toyota does not guarantee that everything in the brochure is accurate and up to date. 2014's came with no outside temp gauge. Their are some threads explaining how to install your own aftermarket if you really need one.

Drat, i guess i'll be making a call to the dealer to see if anything can be done. Probably futile but I'll give it a try. Thanks.

Well talked to the dealer, basically it's listed in the package in the brochure (TRD SPORT) but not on the window sticker so "i didnt pay for it" and they don't owe it to me. Seems like false advertising to me and not totally happy with the answer. Bait and switch at its finest. My other car had the temp gauge and I really liked being able to just glance and see the temp..

Bait and switch... Nope... YOU should have looked at the window sticker. If it wasn't listed then Toyota is not at fault. If it was listed then you are owed a temp gauge with mirror. Brochure means nothing as options are listed as subject to change.

    Many... Many threads on this...

Welcome to the forums by the way. There really is a lot of good information here.

Don't let something small like this sour your new truck experience. I was a little pissed when I found this out about mine. Now I just set up the home screen on my Entune display to always show weather. Yeah its not as accurate as an actual gauge. But, it does the job. Enjoy the new truck!

Yeah i'm not going to let it bug me to much longer but YES it is totally bait and switch in my eyes.. They "baited" with an option i wanted in a package that i purchased and then "switched" the package not to include it. Bait and switch, easy as that. I don't feel the buyer should have to worry about whether or not the contents of a package they purchased is all there, it should just be there if it was in the offer.. But yes over it :D so much fun driving in the snow again.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I received a back up camera wiring harness in the glove box of my new '10 for the option that was not even available for my truck. I made out Bandito style. Better luck next time!
