Youre a lucky man Colin. Glad that was all the damage it did. Is it just the bumpers that took most of the damage? are the structural points bent??

Thanks man and yeah thank God for the bull bar, if the body shop thinks its damaged I might just get a brush guard incase this shit happens again.
Its the weirdest thing, that damn deer had to be standing on the side of the road watching cars past and some how decide to run along my truck for a quick second then BAM!

I almost totalled my moms Merc. We were driving back from a friends house at night. Not even 50 yards away here comes a deer out of the woods. Stopped acted like she wanted to go back but instead went straight across the road.

Still going 35 (slowed down from 50 MPH) and about 15 feet away

I'll give ya a list of what i can see is messed up, i dont have the body shop sheet with my but so far
    1. Bumper might need to be replaced
    2. Passenger side head light is cracked, both lights need to be adjusted cause their point not the way they should be
    3. driver side fog light i guess blew
    4. one of the spot lights on my bull bar is bent and jamed into the bumper and will not move
    5. grill is loose :( (i love that grill)
    6. Bullbar looks bent but it could have moved in its mounts
    7. The painted piece around the grill needs to be replaced (i think thats what they said)
I think thats it soo far. Im dropping her off on the Friday of spring break when i go outta town and the body shop will see what damage lies behind the bumper, and they will fix her good as new, and i guess i'll start over on the front end if they cant save some of the parts i have on the front end

Lights will be easy but man You or they (shop) will have a hard time finding II parts. Painting it is out of the question (as long as its covered in insurance-- youre good there)

From the pictures all I can see to need major replacing is the lights and the grille. I bet the clips just popped out on your bumper

Hey man I think youre brakes worked good. Kept you from losing your favorite truck.

Have you changed out the diff oil yet? just asking. I found out im running on the factory oil still (79,xxx miles)

Well my Dad didnt want rates and shit like that to go up so he's gonna just pay outta pocket for the damages and he said its not worth it because the insurance company would have to come out, take pics, then decide if they will pay for it. The estimate for the damages is 1100 and thats with out them taking a look behind the bumper

Thats a good price for all the parts and labor. Kudos for your dad doing that. I really doubt anything is wrong behind the bumper itself.

Thats why I going straight to the AP bumper. Alabama deer are annoying (and foxes)
