No more chrome grille!

Installed a painted grille today, like it way better than the chrome one. Never been much of a fan of plastic chrome anyway, think it always looks kind of cheesy.

Super easy replacement, two screws, two clips, could probably do it in two minutes a second time.

Yeah paint matched grills look way better I think! Looks a whole lot cleaner!

I want to do it also looks fantastic The more I see the more I want. Wife is now calling it my 60,000 dollar truck and if I keep going I may get near that amount the only mods I have done were the BLULogic , Ipod interface. bought Tacoma all weather mats and bought a Tuffy bed locking storage box. Looking to do more but remember I will be 60 next month so I will noy go crazy with the mods but I want my girl to shine.:0

wowww thats much better! thank god im getting rid of my chrome grille too, its just so ugly! all tacos should come with paint matched grilles!

Staring out the window this morning at my truck. Waxed it yesterday after I finished my mods, it's glistening in the driveway, rain is beading up on the paint. I gotta say I'm in love with the new grille, it's like having a whole new truck sitting out there waiting for me.

Now I'm trying to decide what to do with the rear bumper. I don't really mind the chrome, at least it's real chrome and not plastic chrome. I would quickly swap it for a body colored bumper if I could find one, just don't know where to find one except for checking junkyards. Still considering having it powercoated black and then blacking out the emblems as an alternative.
