Snap on soft bed cover?

I am not looking for any hard cover, but it would be nice to just cover my stuff so its not directly in the elements.

Has any one had any expierence with a snap on cover like this?

Access makes a really good Velcro cover. Works really well and it's made well. Not familiar with that style snap, but I've had button snaps and they are hard as hell to get the cover to fit in the winter. Everything shrinks and gets really right.

 

I used a roll up with sides that secured with velcro. It also had a latch system to hold itself in place at the rear. To open you would drop the tailgate and pull on two chords and the latch would release. I loved it. That was on my old GMC long bed. Haven't had that truck since 07' and don't remember who made the cover. Think I paid around $350 for it.

 

That's similar to how mine works. It has 2 latches at the tailgate to lock it in place.

 

Yes the button snaps are a pain in the ass even especially in cold weather

 

Soft Tri fold covers are the way to go if you ask me. Folds up in a few seconds when you need to access more of your bed, or it can be completely removed without any tools in about a minute. No snaps or velcro or anything to deal with. Speaking from experience I can tell you that covers with snaps are a royal pain in the ass to snap on when it gets cold outside...

 

I want to build my own soft top canopy that I can take apart, remove the sides and use the top as a tonau cover

 

dont get the snaps... horrible... HORRIBLE... should've just saved my money... It's not easy to put on and it really not easy to take off either... Im looking into getting a best top now...

 

I have the extang full tilt cover which tilts up like a hard cover . This way your not constantly undoing your snaps or if you want to take it off you can.
