So I have a 2014 TRD Off road and probably like all of you as soon as I bought it I was looking at mods. I already have a good list going. But one thing I'm noticing, and something that is getting kinda annoying, is every mod I find says "fits 2012-2013". For instance.

    http://www.dougthorley.com/prod-372.htm

I can't imaging there being a difference in the 2013 from the 2014. I want headers and don't see why these won't fit the 14. But does anyone know if there is a real difference? I've Googled 2013 and 14's and really combed over the outside appearance and there's no difference. Thanks for any help.

(photos below.... To make this thread not useless....lol)

This thread seems a bit useless now... Why don't I change that.... lol

So this is today at work. My brother drove his 4 runner in. Probably one of the nicer 4 runners I have seen as a DD. Enjoy.

hahah! Thanks guys, it actually has a 2" daystar lift. This particular "hoerunner" (lol) has what is called "xrayus" (probably spelled that wrong) suspension. You guys have probably heard of it. Basically it has the auto adjusting shocks. So when the shocks are compressing on one side it takes the gas from the other shocks and transfers it to the compressing ones. Its kinda lame cause this was the ONLY lift he could do because of that.

Rodger that, I hear you there.

We were joking about that. He said he's going to tear the stupid "xrayus" system off and do a 6" lift. I told him to do a SAS... lol.

Yea is only in the sport 4runners, xreas does exactly what he says, and limits everything as far as modifying the suspension. I had one, it was awesome, rode fantastic but I kept it stock cuz it was the worse half's ride

Totally true. Not only can he not do any real lift but you cannot change the shocks. The thing still drives great but the limitations suck. Oh and thanks for the correct spelling. Had no clue. lol.

Xreas can be disconnected and new shocks installed.
