So I have pretty much completed my satoshi grill build and plan to install it this weekend. I have been reading up on relocating the horns so they are not visible behind the grill and the general consensus is to mount them on the lower radiator support bar just above and behind the lower grill opening. The problem is that I offroad my truck every now and again and have gone through some decently deep water crossings that will definitely splash or maybe even submerge them in water. Will that kill the horns? I know there is no issue in a heavy rain storm or whatever but I am just trying to take precautions and maybe find an alternative relocation point. Thanks for any insight.

They are not submersible. One of mine sounds like a dying giraffe after spending too much time scuba diving. Train horns ftw.

There's a cheesy metal grille across the outlets to keep out....Birds? They face side ways. Maybe pointing them downwards would help with the "funnel effect" and keep water from going in, but for serious four wheeling, relocation would be best.
