Does anybody know if they make something like this for a 2014 tacoma? All the ones I have found on eBay don't look like they would fit

I'm guessing these are only legal because when you put weight on your seat like groceries, it wont beep like crazy?

Just have the dealer disable it. If they give you any shit it states in the owners manual it an optional accessory. Also, it is saved after you disconnect the battery.

ya there is series of things to do and it turns it off, dont remotely remember what the procedure was but i killed mine like 10 yrs ago. it was something crazy like turn key then plug and unplug seatbelt then press break and all kinda crazy stuff, but its a simple computer switch, the dealer can do it with a programmer easily. there is all kinda of kool stuff you can program usually, on my lexus RX i made the cable and programmer to turn on and off all kinda kool stuff, like from the factory it was disabled but i turned on feature to make it able to roll up the windows with the key

side note: anyone know howto kill the annoying flashing seatbelt light?

    cheers,
    disco

I don't mind having the chime remind me in case I forget to put my seat belt on. I want to be able to easily disable it whenever I want to, such as when frequently getting in/out of truck while off-road or doing multi-errands. For less than $10 I get full choice in the matter.

I'm looking for a similar solution, I'll have to check those out. I always buckle up as soon as I hit a straight stretch of road, but sometimes that takes long enough the chime starts nagging me. I don't want to disable my passenger seat warning though. I have a couple passengers that don't like seatbelts, and it's much more effective to let the chime nag them than to do it myself.

An option, if you want the buzzer to remain. Take an old dvd case and trace your seatbelt pattern on it and cut it out with an x-acto knife. Free.

I made a pair out of a thick piece of plastic cut to match the seatbelt connector thingy (whatever it's called). Mainly wanted them for those few occasions when I'm off roading in fairly benign conditions and need to get in and out of the vehicle frequently. I have a 2011 and the DIY chime disable procedure didn't work for me
