Rigid Industries is great but kinda pricey. I went with 4 dually D2s rather than a bar for mounting flexibility. Amazon has some better deals than many places.

Chas of MRT just ran a group buy on Rigid Industries LEDs and I jumped on a set of D2s. Other popular brands on here seem to be OKLED and Blitzpro. Just stay away from the cheap chinese off brands and you'll be fine.

Why must I stay away from the cheap Chinese LED's? Do the lights burn out quicker? The housing breaks? What specifically makes them not worth it

It really depends on the brand, some of the stuff from overseas is top quality (Vision X say). But in sample testing Ive seen some hack job wiring & construction that could literally kill you. It all depends on the manufacturer, but you know with Rigid, Baja Designs & other American manufacturers you are getting the best with the service to back it up. Having used Rigid for ten years now, I wont be switching anytime soon. I will be picking up some Vision X cannons here soon tho.

Check out the new ProComp bars, they are awesome.

Sorry, didn't see your post until now. There are quite a few members who jumped on the cheaper versions, some with success, but there are a lot of cases of the housings turning bronze because the coating was sub-par, water getting into the housing, poor light pattern, etc. Sure, they're cheaper up front but you sort of get what you pay for.
