From what I can tell my 2014 sport does not have a low wash fluid indicator. Also no outdoor temp. Looking for aftermarket options.

When you fuel your truck and pop the hood to check your oil, look 5 degrees left and see how full your reservoir is.

I own a 13' and owned a 11'. Neither of them have a lower washer fluid light. My 2010 Golf did which was surprising. From almost empty to fill it's almost a full jug in a Tacoma. You can get an aftermarket mirror if you want the outside tempature. There is no point of adding something aftermarket for the washer fluid. It's a big tank so takes 10 seconds to check to see what the level is. I could see if being an issue if the tank wasn't visible but it sounds really silly. It's like TPMS, it makes people not want to check their vehicles for the little things. They just rely on the vehicle to do everything.

The low washer fluid indicator was almost exclusively for those with hidden tanks, such as my 07 highlander. For the Taco, see it at is as a reason to check your oil every couple weeks.

Drill a hole in the tank and install a small float switch at the desired alarm level. Wire the switch to the battery through a fuse to light an LED light you install in a switch blank in the cab.

    Problem solved.
