I just bought a new Tacoma and found, like everyone that they put a cheap rear view mirror in it.

Has anyone replaced a mirror in a 2014 Tacoma?

How do I remove the overhead console without breaking a hidden tab or something?

    Thanks!
    Ron

Unscrew the screw in the glasses holder, pull down the front (closest to windshield). There are 2 little metal clips that will probably be left in the hole that you will need to fish out with your finger. It's pretty simple.

I bought a mirror from Bob. I got the auto-dim, with compass, and Homelink.

The overhead console came loose with no problem. The connector was already there. All I had to do was plug it in.

Took a few tries to get Homelink to work, but in the end everything works as it should.

Thanks to Bob, and to all who replied.

Step tubes,Window tint, HomelinK rear view mirror, changed the entune image screen Rear Differential Breather Relocation Extended AC condensate hose KB Voodoo tailgate cap Redline Tuning QuickLIFT ELITE hood lift system.
I replaced that cheap mirror with the Homelink one.
It was not very hard, you can always let the dealer do it.
Just check around on price, saved me some big money.;)
