OTD prices are worthless for people looking to compare prices. Too many variables come in to play. I have seen people even include trades. Price mentioned in the thread should be actual purchase price of vehicle and no more. Taxes vary by state and for trade in allowances. A moderator jumped in the 2013 thread and mentioned this. MSRP and purchase price are all that is pertinent.

I'm in the Beaumont area. The trouble I'm having is that there are no long beds around here so the dealers are not in a hurry to negotiate on a truck they have to dealer trade for. Last quote I got for a 4x4 dclb trd sport without navigation or any other fancy stuff was $38,701 drive out. I've talked to Fred Haas in Houston but they do not have any long beds. Closest I found was Dallas and when I talked to them they just sold it that day.

Hell no dont pay that!!!! I just paid 34,067 out the door on my 2014 Sport DCSB 4x4 Blue Ribbon Metallic Entune plus with 6% taxes in Florida. Ask to see the invoice price if one person want give it to you get to another salesman that will I would start negotiating below invoice do not pay over invoice price.

Yeah I told the salesman there's not way I'd come close to that. None of them will negotiate because they do not have the truck on the lot.

I still think Houston is your bet bet due to the sheer number of dealers. One has to be able to get your LB in stock sooner rather than later.

The market must have changed in the past year. I had one dealer willing to give me employee pricing on a factory order. The one I bought from got the truck from Brenham and paid the transport. 200+ miles to Rockwall. $3700 off MSRP. I got to $3300 off MSRP rather easy.

I don't understand why more people don't get this and keep posting OTD prices. It would be great if people itemized them like

    MSRP. 34,465

    Price paid 31,800
    Dealer fees. 200
    XX state taxes. 1500
    XX state reg. 200
    OTD. 33,700

Otherwise, all these helpful posts with OTD pricing are worthless because the extra fees by state can be so different.
