I recently purchased a 2010 Double Cab TRD OR.

I didn't think about my wife's 5'0" height before I bought this truck. She can't drive it.

Does anybody know what other Toyota models power driver seats would have the same shape and size as the Tacoma? If I can find a power seat that has the same contours as the stock seat I would swap out the seat cover from one to the other.

We would also consider a unit that has a manual ratcheting up seat lift like the Wrangler I had before this does.

I have the same issue with my wife. She test drove the automatic and everything was fine, but once I bought the 6speed manual, we found out she can't reach to push the clutch in far enough.
I would love to find an easy fix for this, besides telling her to strap blocks to her shoes :)

I had the exact same problem when I bought my '06 nearly 5 years ago. I was thinking of putting in a non-leather power seat from 4Runner but never acted on it.

As it turns out, my wife has gotten used to driving the truck and hasn't hit any pedestrians............yet.

That would be a plus in my opinion.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
With a little modification to the seat tracks, I've got a set of '11 Camry bucket seats (driver side power) I hope to install...one day.
