I had an 02' TRD Access 4x4 with auto door locks. I really liked them.

    I got a 13' DCSB 4X4 a couple of months ago......I can't seem to remember
to lock the door/doors. I'm so used to the auto locks on my 02'.

Anyone else that had a 1st gen with automatic door locks that misses
having auto door locks on their 2nd gen and can't remember to lock
their doors most or all of the time ?.............

Did anyone figure this out? I have the same problem with my 2014. I always forget to lock the doors and would really like it if he truck did it automatically.

my 2013 did it and my 2015 does it. I never knew it was a programmed function and at times, it actually makes me mad because it forces me to unlock my truck when it is enclosed in my garage.

My gripe is I wish the truck would "auto-unlock" when I stop the truck and turn it off. Absolutely hate pulling up someplace, walking over to opposite side of truck and it locked.

I remember to lock my truck just fine when I get out of it, it's when I get in, start it and put it in drive that I wish it would auto lock. All the Camry's I owned auto locked when engaging into drive. Sometimes I find myself at a light with shady characters walking by, and I look down shocked that the door is not locked. Hate to manually lock it.

I didn't think any of the Tacoma's had a Factory Auto Lock Feature ( unless you have an aftermarket Alarm System ). I don't see any mention of it in the service manuals, or wiring diagrams.

After someone steals all of your shit I'll bet you'll remember. [IMG]
