I work for lowes hardware in wilkesboro, nc. And about 6 this evening I was leaving and saw this taco parked a few spots above me. Had a Tacoma world sticker in the backglass!! Satoshi grille, no tailgate. Looked too have a mild lift. Anyone know who owns this taco? Sorry for the terrible pics

I see lots of Tacoma's in my area aswell that are lifted/modified, but none of them seem to be on this forum. Since he has the TW sticker, your best bet is to post in the NC/Regional section.

I don't off road mine, but I live in Wilkes. I notice Tacos all the time but never know if they are on here. You are probably the only one I've seen in Wilkes lol. I don't have a tacomaworld sticker though. I have a buddy that has a silver off road dbl cab but he doesn't have after market rims. So I can't say I've seen that one around amazingly. I do notice all tacos in this area a lot. I haven't looked at your profile yet but I was at lowes last week and saw a black dbl cab with aftermarket black rims...possibly xd revolvers? That you?

Anyway, if you see a speedway blue TRD sport around with matching bedcover, tinted windows, level 8 mk 6 wheels with custom TRD center cap, and a 3 inch lift....that's me. I've noticed several speedway blues around but I finally got my wheels/tires (BFG A/Ts) and 3 inch lift done a couple weeks ago so I'm not like everyone else finally. I also painted my toyota grill emblem speedway blue and I know I'm the only one who has done that around for sure. I don't always have my bedcover on, but anyway...I've wrote a book now....I'm just surprised to see someone else in Wilkes county on tacomaworld! I thought I was the only one!

Ok so I see yours isn't black, but you have the revolvers....must have been you that I saw. Hard to tell yours wasn't black...I never got that close anyway enough to tell.

I know your taco very well. See it all the time at lowes. And drool over it lol. I love the speedway blue with black rims. One of coworkers notices me staring at yours a lot lol. And yes I'm the one with the revolvers! Can't believe I found another Wilkes county person on here!

That silver taco that you posted looks familiar now that's it's been awhile. I see one a lot parked at the Christian school by the fire department in millers creek. I've noticed lately that it's gone through a lot of changes. Looks like fiberglass fenders, long travel, tube fenders and off road tire carrier in the bed. I think it may be the same one but not sure. Looks like the same rims at least. It could be the same one. I saw a sweet ext cab 2012+ taco at WCC the other day. I complimented the guy on it. Impulse red, 3 inch bilstein lift, Terra grapplers with some sort of helo rims. Super sweet looking truck. Said he put the lift on himself at the college but I never see him over there but the one time. Anyway....thanks for the compliment on my truck....it's taken me awhile to get it where it is now. I still have some plans for it too...just nothing big.

Yeah I noticed the fenders and the tire carrier. There is also a silver one riding around with 275's. Have you seen the other speedway blue with the 37's? My truck sits at WCC a lot so I see the different ones there. I've seen an impulse red access cab with a lift with stock wheels and tires and it had a dent on the passenger door, could be the same one with new wheels and tires. Pretty sweet rig.

And you're welcome on the compliment. My truck has been a 5 year long project. My dad bought it new 5 years ago when I was 15 and he let me start modding it when he gave it to me for my 16th birthday. Lots of work and money saved to get it where it's at today. And there's still more to come. My taco is a never ending project lol. Once I do one mod I'm already saving and looking into another lol
