Just to clarify on a RC 6" lift with 35's....You were able to stuff the 35's on and drive away? or did you have to trim first?

I wanted to get them on @ the shop and bring the truck home to do any work needed.

Would a 4.5" backspace make a difference as well?

    2 part question

Yeah I was able to drive home, but rubbed bad trying to turn and park. Also tires are 315x75r16 which equals 34.6x12.4 I also have wheel spacers which I suspect was causing the rubbing. 4.5 b/s is what's recommended on their specs so I would think should be fine. I think they recommend 17" rim and up though because clearance issues. My 16's fit with 33's no spacers, but never tried the 35's without the wheel spacers on

I went today and had my 35x12.5-17's put on. My wheels have 4.5 backspace. I requested to fit test before installed (explained the rubbing concern). About 15 mins later the guy came out grinning saying not even close to rubbing..I did a test at full turn and confirmed no rubbing on spindle. Thumbs up!

I did the CMC and trimmed some of the plastic liner and a little of the inside white fiberglass. Worked perfect.

I'm going back to 33's when these 35's wear out though.

Just got in my 6” ready lift, my 16x12 Mickey thompsons, and my 315/75r16 ko2s. How much rubbing happened with 35s on a 6” lift and am I gonna need to do a cab mount chop. I also wanna note these are -50 offset so I want to know if that’s gonna effect anything
