tinting?

ok guys just wondering how dark I should go to make my indigo ink access cab look good. I know there is a limit in canada, but thinking I might got a bit darker anyhow as my last car didn't look very dark at the limit.

 

I have 20% and you can still see through it pretty good but i like it

 

Yeah....I've got 20% all the way around....It's dark enuf during the day and I can still see to drive at night and I think it looks pretty decent. Indigo ink should make the tint look a bit darker too...

I wouldn't try to push it too far tho- It can be dangerous to drive at night with too much tint.

 

I just don't want people to be able to see through to easily

 

If you want it to match the back, then 20% on the front 2 will match the back 2! And it looks good!

 

I had 20% installed, but was upset when I saw my truck. The front's were not as dark as the rear, but after a week, I think they darkened as everything matches up. I need to roll down my windows for backing up at night. Had to install a backup cam and I should probably add auxiliary lights too.

 

I had 5% all the way around on a truck I had in high school. That was horrible at night!

 

I tinted mine 20% all the way around over the factory privacy glass and it's just dark enough during the day and still visible at night. This will also pass for the legal 35% law.

 

Yeah, that's exactly the reason why most places have laws governing how dark you can have them tinted.

 

Heres mine, this is 5% all around. Can't have it any other way in the desert.

does anyone have a good pic of their access cab with 20 percent because sounds like its the winning vote here.

 

If you don't want it as dark as mine, I would do 30% on the back and 10% up front.

 

The % of tint is the % of light it lets thru. So 5% eliminates 95% of the light....20% eliminates 80% of it...So on and so forth.

thanks guys, I'm thinking maybe twenty five in the front and twenty in the back, would this be a good combo? Because I want my access to be just a bit darker than monte's

 

Are your rear windows tinted already?? Mine rears came tinted and I have to have the fronts matched to it..They just put 20% on the fronts and it looked pretty good.

I'm also not sure if you'll find 25%....

 

so heres my truck, yes the back windows have a bit of tint, but like a dark trim around it, probably alot like the rest of yours... heres a pic.
