TRD Off Road Long Bed

You can't do those with a SB either

 

I had the access cab offroad prior to my DCLB sport. My dog could barely fit in the access cab. I liked having a locker and ATRAC, but I need both a double cab and a long bed. Short bed is a no no for me.

My dog weighs 95 lbs, and has no problem fitting in the front or back seat of my AC. He rides in the bed most of the time anyways.

 

One of mine is about 80lbs. She couldn't turn around in the back. I wouldn't let my dogs ride in the bed. Now she and the other one have the entire rear seat to lay around on.

 

Thats nice to have for them. Yeah its not ideal when my dog is in the back seat, but he manages it just fine.

 

Back to topic. I thought the same thing when I recently purchased my TRD Sport DC LB. I really wanted Elockers. Even though they can be finicky as hell. I needed a full size bed and four doors more than lockers. And six inches in length doesn't mean much offroad. If the trails you run are that tight. You need a Jeep . I agree with the OP. I think Toyota missed the boat with this decision. So when my warranty runs out. I will be installing ARBs front and rear. So then I will have the truck I wanted. That Toyota should have sold me to begin with.

Nope. The LB is 13.2 inches longer so in reality the LB>SB.

 

The angle of that tailgate with 1 normal size bike and 1 small bike doesn't look good. Our tailgates are made of recycled gum wrappers, I would never do that in the picture.

 

I don't mean the accuracy issue , I mean trying to express a fraction of an inch generally divisible into units of 8 and 16 into decimal form , I gotta deal with converting that shit all the time doing rafter calculations

 

Even with the long bed you gotta put a dirtbike and its ramp on a bit of an angle. I dont see a point in a shortbed. I agree, minaswell have a 4runner

every Tacoma has an actual proper sized truck bed except the DCSB
