12v always on power point mod, tailgate anti-theft, Addl bed tiedowns, flyzeye dash lights, map lites with dome lite mod, bed stiffeners, air bags, brake controller, always on fog lights,
I've had Nokyas installed for 6 months and they are always on with my lights and no problems. I like the brightness at night and increased visibility with the headlights. I'm not convinced about the brightness of the ambers. I like mine, and the lenses stay clear when they're off.

Doesn't look bad. I painted mine yellow over a year ago with no issues. To be honest I wanted yellow hids but couldn't find them at the time. Not sure where I heard it but yellow light is more visible than white light in bad weather conditions and rain in general.

    +1

I just change my light bulb to PIAA ION Yellow. I preferred mine clear when they are off too.

    ^^ This ^^

I don't really know. I've really noticed no difference between the yellow or stock bulbs that came with the truck during snow / rain. I've always heard that but I can't tell personally. I just like how they look when they are on, they throw out a good pattern, and it is clear when they are turned off.

These guys say yellow is no better, too:

    http://www.cartalk.com/content/do-fog-lights-work-do-they-help-you-see-through

Have to ignore their anti-Toyota wise crack though.

    More scientific:
    http://www.newton.dep.anl.gov/askasci/phy99/phy99xx4.htm

Added thought: With halogen and higher intensity lamps, having a yellow tint to fogs may not help/hurt penetration enough to matter; so I may just replace with yellow as a better way of identifying a vehicle in poor visibility.
I use my fogs more for commuting into D.C. as extra lights may help keep the drivers aware of my vehicle. They drive crazy around here and every bit of vis helps. I'm considering adding side (clearance) lights if I every find a led side light I like.

Hey I tried doing a search for the Lamin-x amber fog light covers, but it looks like that option is no longer available from Lamin-x. Is there any other reliable brand that sells the amber cover?

You have to request it in the order notes for them to cut amber.

Yeah I wouldn't base it on color...
...I would base it on performance.

Pretty good..Have to understand your applying a film to a light that does get hot! A good install and a lil' knowledge about the film and you'll be happy with it. Cant really go wrong with fogs besides the burning issue. Just be smart about leaving the fogs running while sitting still. I always just cut mine off if I am in traffic or letting my truck idle for whatever reason

Always get the light clean as possible before install..Even surrounding area's. bezel, trim work etc..all that stuff can come in contact with the film during install. After the install is done you gotta keep an eye on the film. Any spots that begin to "lift" you need to push back down immediately
