There might be something about this already but I have searched high and low and couldn't find the answer I was looking for. I have a 2013 DCSB 4x4 trd sport that is stock.I just purchased a set of bilstein 5100 shocks. I was wondering if I set them at the max setting, would I need to change out or add anything else in the front.

From what i've read it's hit or miss with needed new UCA's.

It is a little bit hit and miss. It also depends on tire/wheel combo as far as rubbing. Generally, if you are at 2.5" start considering them. Closer to 3" and you might as well get them. Light Racing UCA are not that expensive and will help with getting the alignment correct.

That's a ton of preload and will result in a real rough ride. Get some OME springs and set them to 0 for about the same lift and a much better ride.

Possibly adjustable UCAs. Other than that nothing 'needed' for the front. It'll be up to you if you think it rides rough. Mine are set at 1.75" on sport springs and it's not bad.

You probably already realize, but 2.5" would be nose high with the rear left unchanged.
