I have a 2013 rc 4x4. Everything is bone stock on it but from day one people have been flashing their hi beams at me which usually indicates that my hi beams are on. The elevation and flood pattern seem right when I shoot the lights at the garage. Is this just a common thing with these trucks or did the dealer hook me up with some extra brights? I'm not complaining by any means, I like being able to see the road.

Also its funny when I flash my hi beams back and they lift a hand to cover their eyes. ::cool:

It happens here too. I enjoy turning on the hi beams right back at them too... Especially at stop lights at close range.

Happens to me every time I drive at night, Ive been wondering why. Damn sure didn't plan to adj. them to make them worse for others. I enjoy having great lights now, the fog lights are great for spotting deer on the late nights in from the races

I had that problem until it was really foggy and my driver beam was pointed in the left lane. I adjusted and no more flashing. My highs were way off too because of it, on the other hand my wifes Tacoma was spot on good pattern and highs were right on. I marked hers on the garage with tape and mine were off to the left like how I saw in the fog.

Ive wanted to flash some trucks before thinking it was on high but once they got closer I saw it was a taco so I understood why they were so damn bright.

If you are getting flashed every day that means your lights are out of adjustment.

I had an issue when I had a heavy load in the bed with the stock rear springs. Made the truck point up. Don't have that issue anymore with the dakars.

Had the same problem, just turn them down just a little and problem went away. It dont take much and you wont notice the change. Having bright lights in your face sucks and I dont like knowing Im blinding cars coming head on to me.

i think it has to do alot with the very sharp cutoff the 2012+ headlights have also the fact that the rear ends on these things tend to be a little saggy if you only have the 2+1 leaf packs in the rear.
