Here is what I have: 3" ome lift 885 coils, icon 1.5" 3 leaf progressive, LR uca's, 17x8 rims with 4.5" bs 0 offset. my tacoma will be 95% on road. Should I use the 1/2" spacers and get the full 3" and go with p 285 70 17 open country or terra grapplers? Or not use the 1/2 spacer and go with 2.5" and run maybe bfg At lt 275 70 17 or lt Goodyear wranglers mtr 275 70 17? Please help me decide

i say don't do the spacer lift, it will only degrade your ride quality and larger tires will degrade your mpg. the smaller tires won't look much different on the road, and since they would be light truck tires, they will be more durable and should last longer. I don't think the full 3" lift look would be noticeable enough to warrant worse handling and mpgs

Go 255s same diameter, no rub, better MPG, better on rock. Only downside is they are not floatation tires meaning if all you do is mud then ya get 285s

    3" lift
My Tacoma initially had a 2.5" lift with 265-70-17 Mickey Thompson tires. There was some rubbing when backing. I then went with a 3.5" Walker Evans suspension system and went with 275-70-17 Hankook tires. The new suspension system and tires work great!
