2014 4x4 crew cab. Had a 2in level kit put on along with 285 75 16's. Now the rear end is considerably lower than the front. What do y'all suggest I do to remedy?

    Thanks,

Remove POS leveling kit = problem solved.

Or add bigger POS rear blocks to the leafs and you will have successfully taken a good driving truck and turned it into something that totally drives like POOP every time you hit a bump.

No idea why people "level" trucks... makes my head hurt just thinking about it.

I was told by numerous people that without the level kit the front tires would rub. Should I have just done 2 inch lift? This is in fact my first rodeo.

    1) smack those people. was it a company?

Do you offroad at all? If so lifts do nothing to help increase tire size. Most leveling kits are in fact cheap spacer lifts that prematurely wear out your components and make the truck drive like crap in bumpy situations.

    2) 285's cause more fitment issues than any other tire size from what I see on TW.

Do you rub now? turn your wheels to one side all the way and look for rubbing. Then turn the other way and look again.

The easiest thing to do with a truck that new is sell off the tires, get rid of the leveling kit, and buy tires that fit the truck. Otherwise your just going to be fighting an uphill battle and the truck will never drive as good as stock unless you sink a couple grand into good suspension.

    Wow, few grand?

First off, 285 will not fit with just a leveling kit. 3 inch lift is needed. And that still needs to have some trim off the fenders.

nothing wrong with having blocks in the rear. They work the same as add, just easier to install.

If you don't want to spend any more one then you have to. Just get 265 tires. I'm sure somone is willing to trade you 285 for 265s. And blocks or AAL will help the rear

You're experiencing bro lean. Depending on which truck you have, .85 or 1.75" would have leveled the truck without changes to the rear. If you're using a strut spacer you may find it rides bad and it's not so good for the suspension.

Bilstein offers the 5100 series strut that has a range of adjustments up to 2.5". It's a better quality option and they don't empty your bank acct.

For the rear, if you want the truck level or have a rake stance, then you'll either have install an AAL, leak pack, or block. You could also lower the front to a height that would be level with the rear suspension.

As for the tire size, I don't know what height that size will fit.
