I currently have a 2008 access cab prerunner I installed bilstein 5100s at 1.75 but I want more lift I was thinking of OME coils LR UCAs and a 1.5" add a leaf in the rear
?I HAVE A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS THOUGH?

    1. i have a ranch hand brushguard which is about 75 to 100 lbs so should i get the OME 885 or 886 coils i dont care if the ride is stiff but i want a total of 3 inch lift in the front
    2. will the OME coils work with 5100s
    3. what is a good brand add a leaf to get i am looking for 1.5 inches in the back

i want my truck to sit level or maybe a little higher in the front i do not want it higher in the rear at all

The 885s would suffice fine and work with the 5100s. Make sure the 5100s are set at 0 lift. LR UCAs are a great affordable option so get those to correct any alignment issues. As for the rear, 5100 shocks and the icon AAL system would perform great and not break the bank.

Maybe check out the 887s if you want a little more lift up front...they have the same spring rate as the 885s...they're just longer.

885s give 2.5-2.75"... On prerunners from what I've read and heard

I have a double cab PreRunner and am just under 3". That's with my steel bumper.

If I get 3" in the front do I need extended brake lines and do I have to get rear shocks if I put 1.5" add a leaf

No to extended brake lines and no to rear shocks. Neither is a must but is recommended if you want more flexing in the rear. The 5100's are rated up to a 1" lift and some icon 2.0s are good for up to 2" of lift

just the spindles alone would give you 4" of lift...no UCAs needed... but you would need extended brake lines.

So would I be better off to just get spindles then to get coils upper control arms and renting a coil compressor because it would only be one inch higher than what I am wanting now

I have the spindles and love them. I'm on stock coils and bilsteins and stock UCAS.. But UCAS are next on my list. The maxtrac spindles should come with extended brake lines.

Well I have the Billies set at 1.75" so I have a 2.5" AAL and a 1.5" block and it is slightly lower in the rear. But since you just want the 4" with the spindles I would say about 3" in the rear would sit you level. There are 2.75" lift Dakars. Those might put you level with the spindles alone but I can't tell you from experience. Hope that helps somewhat!:D

    Yes that did help
So all together u have about 6 inches of lift in the front and 4 in the back that's pretty cool I have the bilstein 5100s and if I get the spindles I thought maybe setting them at .85 and getting about 3 inches of lift in the rear.

3" Lift with UCA, Grillecraft grille, XD rims w/ 285/70r17 duratracs, leer xq cap,
Your going to want UCA's with more than 2.5" lift I have a 3" skyjacker lift and tried it with the stock UCA's and it wandered like a mother, just baught and installed Camburg UCA's and it made a HUGE difference handles like a car now.

I'm on the stock UCAS and it drives fine in my opinion but I'm not saying you don't need to replace them. It is highly recommended and the only reason I don't have them yet is because I don't have the money at the moment. Plus UCAs will help your alignment after the lift.

also check out 'iron man' coils also, thats what i have. i have the 3" coils, they are made to hold extra weight so a little stiffer. aftr settling i think it came out a little below 3 inches, anyone have a stock prerunner and know what the measurement is from center of front wheel to the fender flare off hand? i like it that way. right now i don't have my 'kangaroo killer' re-installed yet, but plan on doing it today, so later i can show ya what a good bit of weight does height wise. pics below are before re-install. i bought them with the iron man shocks already installed, they are 'beefier' than the 5100's, i gave away my front 5100's, still have the back ones installed though with 1.5" blocks and cornering hard there is alot more body roll in the back, so the 5100's are not as stiff by far. i am about to try AOL to stiffin it up.

    cheers,
    disco
