Looks like the hood scoop that is added to the xps package maybe. I personally do not like it as it is stick on and depending on how long you left it, if you wanted to remove it may leave evidence that is hard to get rid of in terms of paint fade/wear. I'd say try and find a sport hood if you really want the scoop. To be honest, the scoop creates sun glare at certain angles that makes me want to smash it or paint it flat black.

To each their own but there's no way in hell I'd ever add a 'stick on' hood scoop to any of my vehicles.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
both above consist of the stick on scoops and do not include any hood. you can find the sport scooped hood for less than $700, but then you'd have to pay to color match.

It's bad enough that Toyota puts a non-functional scoop on the TRD Sport...........but adding your own is just wrong.

But if you put one on, and somehow make it functional, you will be the man.

So cutting it open would only allow hot air to escape the engine bay? Hot air created by a supercharger or something?:drevil:

Although the intercooler does stay very cool. And it may not be needed or work. I'm just trying to find a reason to make it 'functional'.

I personally like the scoop and wish I had one but there's no way in hell I would install the add-on scoop, it makes me think of all the rice rockets out here adding crap to their cars thinking that it will make the car look sportier but it's simply giving it the look of cheap aftermarket parts being un professionally installed on their cars.

The complete hood looks like a winner to me, I'm curious to see it in person the price seems too low.
