Toyota Alarm for 2014 Tacoma

I found out today that my 2014 does not have an alarm. It has the remote door lock and panic button, but nothing else.

Does anyone have a source for the add on alarm? I believe the part number is PT398-35121, but I am not sure.

I have searched the web and found them for sale from many dealers. I was just hoping the forum might have a contact with a better price.

Thanks!
Ron

better to get an aftermarket alarm like Viper or Python, cheaper and better than OEM factory alarm.

Yes you can but you would limit yourself on the nice features that your aftermarket alarm would offer

You get more for your money with aftermarket. This is the one I bought recently and will be installing it in a few weeks. I have the previous version of it and it is well worth it.

i got my "Karr" alarm from toyota as part of my price for buying my truck...the thing is way too sensitive...barely touch the truck and the alarm is going off.

X 2 ^^ I just had my further son in law install this one for me . He is an stereo / car alarm installer by trade and this is the one he recommended . Just my .02 cents.
