Ultimate Lift Kit???

Hey guys I have a quick question I want to lift my DBL cab Long bed, and was wondering if the ultimate lift kit from toytec is a good way to go? One more question...... Would it be a good idea to go for a new UCA's while im at it? Thank you very much before hand..

 

Yes UCAs are a good idea but not mandatory. And yes it is a good way to go. There are other options, but the Ultimate kit is fairly easy to install and work with.

 

any suggestions on a good brand of uca's and where to pick some up at?

 

Total Chaos is highly recommend by lots of folks (I'm going to be buying a set soon and Wheelers offroad MIGHT be working on a group buy). Wheelers offroad sells TC UCAs regularly, or you can wait to see what happens with the group buy.

Toytec sells the Light Racing UCAs- They are good but have had issues in the past.
Camburg are also good, but have been found by some to be noisy.

 

hey check total chaos and camburg. they are both well made and are very srtong. It will set u back around 600$ depending on where u buy them.

 

Mine is going on my 09 short bed DC 4x4 tomorrow. I'm going with the LR UCA'S, Ultimate kit, longer brake lines, and for the wheels and tires I'm using the moto metal 955's with Mickey Thompson 285-75-17 MTZ radials. I hope to have pics up this weekend. UCA's will definately help with better alignment. Feel free to send a PM if you want further details on ride etc.

 

Toytec has guaranteed me that all the issues have been resolved with their new LR UCA's. With the service I have had with them so far I am willing to take that chance.
