Way to shit up the thread, discount2000. Is there an audible 'pop' when you pull your head out of your ass?

It's rare as in it's not typically used as a patrol vehicle, not that it's a one off package.

Maticuno, congrats on the new ride. Enjoy the new patrol smell, it don't last long when you put a smelly arrest in it.

Apparently I'm the only one who noticed. Where did the column shifter come from? I thought all Tacoma's had a floor shifter in the center console? Or is that only TRD's, SR5's and up?

It's still a center console shift. It was nearly impossible to reach with the original layout of the light bar controls. I've since fixed that issue.

When I was an MP in Coronado back in the mid 90's we had Jeep Cherokees for patrolling the beach/dunes. Never got stuck.

I'm sure you'll have the same luck with the Tacoma.

Very cool!! I've never seen a police Tacoma! So, it is rare to me, despite what some others might say. Let's see it lit up!:D:D

Thanks for the update, the electronics under the rear seat is actually a pretty damn good idea lol. The antenna's are mounted where I thought they would be...great on a fleet vehicle, not so great on my personal truck lol. :D

Tightly seat belted into the front passenger seat, or call for a transport unit. I don't see any way to fit a cage in here without losing a ton of leg room, both for the driver and any 10-15.

Disabled the door lock chirp and trimmed 5" off the front mud flaps this morning.
