Like everyone and the manual says, 5 or 10 if you've got some balls.

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
Try just replacing the oil filter every 3k. Top off the synthetic. Good to for 10k between full oil changes.

Synthetic oil can stand up to long term use. But that filter is what keeps the crap out of the engine.

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure. I know it has 5w30 non-synthetic oil in it. I'll get it done at 5K or 6 months.

Not sure I'd recommend changing at 10k miles while still under warranty. Manual calls for every 5k and if you run into any mechanical issues, there's always a chance they could blame you for not following maintenance intervals.

Take a look at your owner's manual. The oil change reminder will flash on the dashboard for a few seconds every time you start the engine when 4500 miles has elapsed, and stay illuminated when 5000 has elapsed. Manual also covers the procedure to reset the reminder after an oil change for the next time. If you don't do it yourself, or have it done by a knowledgeable person, you will need to reset it yourself.
