Just a heads up: when hanging the flag against a wall, it should be displayed with the field of stars to the left.

I'm sure it's just an oversight. You obviously take pride in the way you do things. Clean truck.

It's called "flag etiquette". This is an old picture anyway, he probably has already fixed it. I am a disabled veteran and there plenty more vet's on this forum. I still have great respect for our flag.

Here is my super awesome sleeping/ storage platform. I was telling a guy at work about building one, so he offers to sell me his setup for 60 bucks!! I couldn't buy the materials for that much.

So it's about 3 inches of foam, under the carpet which just happened to be a perfect color match for the shell. There are 6 storage compartments, with another really big space in the middle.

The whole thing weighs about 50 pounds and can be removed in 5 minutes. I'm 6 2 and can comfortably sleep with my lady in the 6 ft bed.

Where do you get the rubber mounts you're using to hold the shovel with?

They are called "Quickfists". Do a search - they are available at many places, even Amazon.

By far my favorite thread on TW so far. I got in a rush and did the standard 2x8 slats with carpeted 3/8" plywood. I have a feeling I'll upgrade. I'm about to take on the challenge of carpeting the interior of my fiberglass cap. I'm going to use the thin carpet used for subwoofer boxes and I'm still deciding on the glue/adhesive to use if you have suggestions?
