Let me start this thread off with a list of events:
Bought 2005 DCSB "PreRunner" feb 2013. Throughout my time on here and looking at my truck I found odd things and loose ends. I recently had a trip to Prairie city and had no problems, my truck has had an LSD axle but I never really cares until this trip. As fellow TW members inspected my truck we came to the conclusion that at one point my truck was possibly a TRD Sport or just a freak of nature that Toyota threw together. Here a list of things that don't make sense.

    1. Color matched door handles/mirrors
    2. Off-road wheels
    3. Aside from all the color match it had a chrome bumper and grill
    4. The hood was not even on both sides so it is most likely swapped?
    5. Once again it has the LSD rear axle.

I have no idea what to think.

No such thing as a "Sport " gas tank

I say it is probably an SR5 that was in an accident

Toyota sold some sr5 pre 09 with mechanical LSD diffs like in the TRD sports...that's probably what you have. It's all stock

Also higher sr5 packages had the offroad wheels sometimes tires as well (Bfg)

I just think everything is strange. I think it was in an accident because of the hood being off center as well as driver side bumper sitting lower than passenger

I think someone on here did a few mods.
Carfax will not tell you mods someone did.
Also they could have screwed up some of the mods and decided to pass along the problem to someone else.

You are correct...your LSD is electronic. Mechanical LSD has no buttons. Also auto LSD does not work in low range FYI.

Dylan I think I agree with the others...you have an upgraded SR5 base. Probably someone from a dealership pulled some strings and had a custom build. Not impossible, just not common.
