I bough a travel trailer last year. I took it out a couple times last fall and even with the cooler weather the transmission got over 200 degrees. I want to add an auxiliary cooler to the existing one I have (2011 sport TRD). What transmission cooler should I be looking at to keep the temps low in the middle of the summer? I'm planning a two day trip and could be driving over eight hours a day and the last thing I want is a cooked transmission.

    Thanks in advance!

If it's not made by Long it's not worth buying. Positive is that most stacked plate coolers are rebranded Long's.

You could probably replace your OE cooler with that 30k True Cool Max(A Long cooler).

Living in a cooler climate like you do it would be worth getting the True Cool kit with the thermostat.

I had a 99 4runner that had red milk shake. Are tacomas having this issues as well?
