Too bad they have reserved that burnt orange/red color for the TRD Pro packages. It really looks nice every time I see it.

Every time these threads pop up, in comes the hate on why it is a crap package and whatnot, but let's face it guys, Toyota doesn't gear these packages for the hardcore desert runners or trail crowd. For what it is, its not "bad".

Theres no question the truck looks really nice, especially the orange color, and I'm sure performs great too, but like many have said, its about 800 bucks at the most of upgrades, being offered by toyota for like 2500 bucks

yea that was pretty terrible... IMO, don't waste your money for red springs, buy a normal trd and build it!

I feel like idiots like the host are whats wrong with the car industry.

People selling a product they know nothing about. I love test driving many vehicles and test probably 1-2 per week for fun, and am constantly amazed that the salespeople know less about their product than I do.

Sure, I can understand if I know more about the Taco than a Toyota dealership, but lately for fun Ive tested the new Ram 1500 diesel and VW touareg diesel, Subarau XV crosstrek ect and I know more about these cars than the dealership and I am not even a fan of them.

I work as a foreman for a highway building company and have to know many road building regulations and building codes off the top of my head. These salespeople just mail it in daily, waiting for stupid consumers to come in and get baffled by bullshit.

If I was Toyota I would fire that guy and promote someone that uses their product and is a huge fan of it.

And Toyota isn't stupid enough to put something like "professional driver, closed course" in fine print...
