It's good to know that the stock Tacoma has 260-some, ah, um, horsepower. Pretty bad when the guy who's supposed to be selling this "all new" truck doesn't even know something as basic as this.

Umm, nothing special. A $4-500 suspension upgrade for $2-3000. It still will not fill the void that the raptor created. Toyota just isn't willing to take the risk.

Same size shocks as dump trucks, and fire trucks.........along with a 262 hp engine, that's the same as the engine in the Tacoma now..........Me thinks the Toyota guy believes the +30 hp gain hype of the TRD exhaust, and the only dump trucks/fire trucks he has seen, are Hot wheels.

I would love to see the shocks on our Fire Truck on the Tacoma. They would stick through the hood.

Unfortunately the Taco didn't get ANY upgrade compared to the TX pro baja package already available. Assuming it is priced the SAME as adding the BY/BX packages it will sell fine. Only differences I see are the hoodscoop, grill, and color matched bumpers and mirriors - basically they started with a sport package shortbed.

I do like the trd pro tundra. ONLY because it doesn't have chrome. But I do like the regular trd offroad just as much.
