Hey guys, I've been lurking around here for a while but finally came across an issue I can't find a solution to on the forums.

I pulled my instrument panel off and put a piece of black tape over the bulb to cover up my TPMS light(I don't have all of the sensors, so it was always on). However when I put it back in my tachometer is well below the 0 mark.

It still acts like it reads my RPM's but it's just in the wrong place...

    Things I've tried:

    1. Moving it to the right position manually after everything was plugged back up
    2. Doing the same as above but without it plugged up.

Number 1 worked but when I turned my truck off it reset itself to lower position again!

Anyways, I hope I haven't messed anything up too bad.

Does anyone know of a reset method to get it back to normal?

I can post any pictures if need by just let me know.

seems I didn't search hard enough, I found this and will try it when I get home.

It describes my exact situation though, so I have high hopes.
