    Ah, I see.

Maybe Canadian hockey rage gave you a lead foot? I've noticed that if I let the truck shift around 1400-1500 rpm rather than holding it until 2k or higher it gets me an extra couple of MPG's

I think it's my driving conditions , no highway ever , short trips , lots of hills

    Probably a definite contributing factor.
    But....
Still going to have to go with Canadian hockey rage. Did you see last night's game?

Been a good series so far. I hate watching a team sweep a series.

    Edit;
That being said, I hope the B's "Démolir Les Habitants"

    Just a few minor things.
Had my 14 DCSB Prerunner SR5 2wd for almost two months. Round trip drive to work is around 40miles which I drive 3 to 5 times a week, depending on which part of the rotation I'm on. Around town and to work I'm averaging between 19 and 20. Drove down to GA last week to visit some family, mostly interstate at 70-80mph on average, got almost 23mpg. I'm constantly averaging 5 to 6mpg more than my 03SportTrac that I previously had. Not much of anything I don't like about this truck. I think the only way I could be happier with it is if was paid for.

4x4 definitely ads extra drag , even though they only claim 1mpg loss in the city i feel as though its about 1.5mpg across the board.

Summer gas, 2 lane highways, little a/c I see 22-22.9mpg at 63-67mph. Calibrated ScanGauge and new MS2 Michelins.

    Too few to list.
40-45 mph seems to be the sweet spot with 285's according to ultragauge but can't drive that on the highway.

Those MS2's are something else. Got a set on my Tacoma and had a set of the LTX MS's that lasted more than six years on my last truck. I am a little biassed though.

I think the impact is greater at higher speeds. My 2013 does about the same as my 2009 Prerunner in the 60 - 70 range. When I start running long distances at 80 it seems to suck more gas.

It's people driving 50-55 on the interstate that keep forcing me to slow down and ruin my MPG's

The speed limit for Semi-trucks on our interstate is 60mph and allot of them follow that and some go slower to improve economy. How is it that them driving 55-60 is the law but someone else driving 50-55 (when the minimum is 45) is dangerous? I've never felt endangered by driving 55 on the highway.

2014 DCLB 4x4 - 1st tracked fuel up was 11.8 gallons over 222 miles of mixed driving, secondary roads at 50-55mph and local roads at 35-45mph. FWIW, I don't think I saw the Tac ever go over 2,000rpm.

It helps, unless you consider better mpg = ruined.
