That is really cool, but i'll stick to my sickly red led's as they are better for night vision.

Yeah I was thinking of changing mine out but it looked a little complicated so I said screw it. Hey can't you change the LED's on the A/C and stereo controls as well, or all the ones in that general area?

I'm definitely gonna give this a shot soon...probably white backlight

and I noticed that the tach has two separate leds for the needle...thinking of maybe blue for the side and red for the top one so that as the rpms get up, the needle changes from blue to red...like a noble

Toku...since you've seen one apart...does this seem possible?

It would be possible but the colors would mix together to be a pinkish color. But it would look different!:D

A.C. controls are painted that color. So NO You can't just change the bulbs. You'd need to strip the silver and repaint the letters and numbers.
    Not a good Idea.

Remember that the pictures of the LED is deceiving! The LED's are really small! You need to hold them with a pair of tweezers to install them.
    IMG_0919_955b3bbf0bece1a7f6b83f26efb7ed80cdba8f72.jpg

You also need to be sort of good at soldering. Because LED's are diodes. And Diodes cannot handle heat. So you need to be fast when soldering them in, or they won't work.

    Good Luck!
