No going back :) Time to plate it... on the firewall looks like I got 3"of clearance down low and a little over an inch at the floorboard. I got about 3" clearance with my 33"s the only thing I need to do after plating the firewall is figure out if my body mount will clear over 35"s. Id love to do some 37"s

I separated my firewall almost a foot up and pushed it in a good 1" and same thing with the back side of the wheel well in the back there it drops down so now its a nice round shape but still need to weld it up...Did you have smoke from all the factory caulking? Man its a little scarry :) I figured if it comes out nice to offer the labor to people for a cost of covering a few days of work but now im thinkin NOT!!! :)

You really have to be careful with fire. I pulled up the factory carpet and laid wet towels on the metal to keep it cool and managed to not start a bonfire, but it happens easy. Safety third!

This is mine welded back up. I used seam sealer and then painted it. Bad picture though

It looks like you went a little further back right next to where the rubber mount was since you got rid of yours... i went about 10" up the floor board (basically cut the whole pinch weld off) which made it esay to overlap it, (it was alot of work though!)too to push it in about an inch. I had to take my electrical out of both kicks, fuse box and unplug all harnesses to get it all out of the way so there is no gamble with starting a fire. I dont have my tires yet so I figured chop as much and as high as possible and then find out if its gonna be 35" with lots of room to spare or 37" (I hope) :)

Do any of you guys have any GOOD pictures of a set of 37" turned to or close to lock see how far the outer corner of the wheel goes in to the firewall and wheel backspace/ spacer info?? Does the wheel outer corner get close to where the sleeved hole is in the floorboard for the body mount?

Im running 36x13.50 16" Iroks, but they measure out to the same as a 37 on their site. Yes they do rub the frame from time to time at full lock. I would run 38's if they had them. Im just not a fan of the heavy Toyo's

Well Shawn im ready for tires and nobody has any in stock in the Sacramento area I called! :( i guess there must not be a market for anything 35" and bigger. Props to you for running 36"s.. im getting tired and im not even done yet . I wish I knew someone local running some 37's on 6 lug I could test fit for a offer to take out to lunch and chat about mods :)
