I have a 2013 2.7L Tacoma and am thinking about getting 3" spacer that goes on top of the strut (not on top of the spring). I have stock tires and rear is completely stock. If I put the 3" spacer on the front will this effect or mess up anything on the truck (considering the truck will be an Inch higher in the front)?

:D thanks for the pictures of your truck. Looks good. I figured maybe I'd do the spacer to get a cheap idea and since I'd be getting all new ones if I go with something else like the 5100's.
What rim and tire size are you running?

Are you set on 3"? You can go a little less and cut down the price $500.. And I would recommend also using eibach coils if you are wanting to go very high... Also look it to matrax sp? Spindles.. Another good option and you keep the factory ride with a basic setup

17" Texas edition wheels and 265/65/17 I believe can't remember its what it came with.. Going to be running 285s though soon.

I also have 1.5" wheel spacers

Also keep in mind people will talk shit about said "bro lean" but I love the look and honestly can tell a big difference in steep climbs being a prerunner I need all the help I could get

Well I'm just getting use to the suspension and tire size and all but I figured I might want to be careful with just a 4 banger engine with lift and wheels. But if I get different suspension also good for a little off road fun ( nothing crazy like jumps or anything, just some hill trails and mud) I figured I'd be throwing out the spacer and front strut and end up replacing it right?

I also have a 2.7 does great I have a rig just for off reading but use the Tacoma for longer trips, fire roads and other higher speed things... The least I would do if I were you would be 5100 and eibachs tats what I have and its great for what I do... Huge difference over stock. But the sky is the limit on how far you want to go...

I am going to end up getting uca's and spindles and going sua with deavers bit doing it all step by step as money allows.

Find out what you want in the long run and build off of that.. Not what you can afford right this sec just so you can get something now... Spacers are by far not the best option unless your only goal is cheap

Alright I think I get what your saying.
Bilstein 5100's with Eibach shocks and uca's?
Just trying to make sure I understand Since it sounds like the off roading we do in the tacoma is pretty close to the same. I dont want to lift my truck much higher than stock and I to agree with you on the lean but I dont want to buy a whole set up and end up having a lift I dont want

IIf you go higher then The .85 setting on the 5100s you will likely need UCAS to correct alignment how I am set up right now I did not need them.. I will be getting them cause i will be going with coil overs after my Billy's go bad

I learned one thing about spacer lifts.... I'd rather have no lift. My '14 rides soooo much better than my '09. The lift cost quite a bit more, but was worth it.

Yea im figuring since I already have the spacers that in a month or two i'll try to get the 5100's. I've also been seeing alot of people using Icon shocks but I dont know if thats more for like jumping and off roading like that and I have no idea if those shocks give any lift. so I think I will have to just do more research.

Yes icon coil overs will lift you and it will be a way better ride but its 1200 before the uca's you would need for your 3"

I'm going to stay stock and get fox RR shocks when mine where out.. At 3" up front I would look in to an aal on the cheap side or a new pack on the higher side

Maybe instead of going 3" I'll go 2" so maybe I wont have to aal. cause I dont want to really Lift it much cause I like the original height just want the front a little higher. But I heard fox has some good front shocks you could find for not to expensive.

Badgers, I don't need no stinking Badgers.
I think you should put spacers in the rear and leave the front alone, then get some side pipes, and some 345 in the rear. That's my vote.:D
