Hey, anyone got any tips on getting cc axle back into female spline, inside diff? I get it started, and its engage, because other side wheel turns when I rotate axle. Just can't get the c-clip spring started it seems...thx

It helps to have two people guide it in. It has to be inserted almost perfectly level, not any angles that are going to hang you up. Use some heavy axle grease to keep the c-clip centered in the groove on the axle. Make sure the open end of the c-clip is facing down towards the ground too. Once you make sure the axle is going in on the splines, use a block of wood and a hammer, or use a rubber mallet, to rap the wheel side of the axle and pop it all the way into the differential. It shouldn't take more than one or two medium raps to seat it. Anything more and you probably are gacking up the splines.

I did it a few times, I thought it would be a bitch but it really isn't. Hope this helps you out.

As you are installing the axle into the splines , the entire axle must be as straight as possible . Keeping the axle straight is going to help get that C clip started

Ok, gona load it with grease and make sure open part of clip is down. I think alignment could be my problem. I put one of these in a Honda years ago. Thx
