You probably think immigration checkpoints are no good either.... If DUI checkpoints save ONE life that's enough for me - you're using a public road - don't to want to get stopped at a DUI checkpoint? Don't drive....

I would say if you are leaving the state of Colorado the odds that you have weed with you is far higher than that of the native population of the state you're going to. It's no different than alcohol in a dry county. If you are coming into a dry county it's more likely you have alcohol than someone who is already in the county...

I bet if a white guy walked around at 3 am in a high crime area they would get a stop and frisk.

But yes it wasnt fake to those people in 1955

And police have to advertise the locations of there checkpoints before they do them anyways, I dont mind checkpoints if they are done on smaller backroads but they are a pain if they do them on main roads and I have to wait five minutes in the line.

Maybe, but they would find the same contraband in the low crime area if they frisked every body in the nice neighborhood. 90% of those frisked broke no law and nothing was found, but they may well have get a misdemeanor for loitering etc. They just aren't targeting white folks.

Nothing stopped in 1955, and in many ways it's gotten worse.
