Every so often my rear lights come on for about 5 minutes and then go off. Only way to usually fix this is go out start truck and shut it off. Any ideas of wtf is going on?

does the truck have anything other than bone stock wiring and no aftermarket or custom wiring or fuse box work ?

Because the trucks emission system is programmed to activate when the truck is shut off for a certain period of time and suck vapors, then shut back off. Some peeps who did the the 'fog light anytime mod' stole power from that system, and the fogs will turn on briefly in the middle of the night when the evap system does it's thing. So...perhaps some wiring is crossed up in that regard. I don't know if the 07 has this type of evap.

As far as I know the truck is stock. I bought it used and haven't done anything to it yet. How will I know if anything has been added eletrically? Just so I know what to look for

I think when I first noticed it I checked the brake pedals but I will double check next time. I didn't get a chance to look at the fuse boxes hopefully tomorrow.
Question do your rear lights go on when you guys start up your truck? I'm asking because this is a US truck and maybe thinking something got touched when it crossed the border. Just an idea

Well went and looked at the fuse boxes and didn't see anything in there but I did find this under the hood not sure if it is normal. Any idea what it is?

It is mounted up near the driver side firewall. Has a 20amp fuse here's another picture of it.

It says 'D.R.L Module' on it, I would guess its an add-on for daytime running lights?

Ok so I went and pulled the fuse on to that drl and seems everything is fine now. They tied it into the front headlight which now has me confused why the rear lights were going on. The plug the cut into is the front engine wire harness and they tied into a spare 50amp fuse slot. What should I do to remove this so I don't eff anything up.

Go to the website I posted above and they have a link to the installation instructions. Try doing the installation backwards if you get my drift.
