I'm 5'9", the wife is 5'5", she drives it regularly and, while she moves the seat most of the way up for the clutch, she has no issue except remembering to put the fucking seat BACK, and it never fails I damn near cut my legs off getting back in the truck.

Otherwise, I'd say check the rails like a poster above me noted. Either you have Tyrion legs or you aren't moving the seat all the way up.

Mine is ok too, just heard stories.

I owned a great 96, big 6 and ran like new. I gave it to my older son. I should have kept it and bought him this 2012!

I'm 5'8" and have no issues with my 5-speed RC. If anything it seems my arms are too short because the steering wheel doesn't seem to telescope back far enough. I noticed how much room I have behind the seat though. Even though from the outside looking in it doesn't look like my seat is up that close to the front. I have a solid 6+" from the top of the seat to the back of the cab. Time to build a sub box.

I’m 5’8 so not much taller. I have a DC but my seat is not all the way forward it’s about in the middle if i had the 6 speed i could press clutch in fine. but i do kinda have long legs for 5’8. I don’t hit my knees at all on anything.

I’m kinda like yotabilly i think my arms are to short, i had a hard time at first finding that perfect spot of leg comfort and arm comfort.

Shrug. I'm 5'7 and when I test-drove I did manual transmissions and had no trouble manipulating the pedals without beating up my knees. But, I was test driving access cabs with bucket seats. Maybe the bench is different, but I doubt it. My GF is 5'4 and she could run the clutch just fine on the trucks we test drove too. :notsure:

I guess you'll have to invest in a set of Short Round brand driving shoes?

U could get the a few pedal covers and just keep stacking em up on ur clutch till it was comfortable, or cut a 2x4 and bolt it to the pedal, or just dont use ur clutch.

My legs are short and I don't have any trouble, my torso's tall for my height so the lack a seat height adjustment (bucket seats) is frustrating at times.

Keep a cane in ur truck and clutch with ur left hand. Clearly more motivation would help the situation, walk to work a couple days and i bet the truck will be prettt comfortable the next time u drive
