I would just be worried about the jug bouncing up since there’s nothing holding it down. I typically put the fluids as close to the cab as possible because of this, less bounce toward the center of the truck. Also a jug like that can weigh quite a bit, are those attachment hooks reinforced behind them, seems like the screws would pull through pretty easy.

Super easy adjustment at least with the Scepter MFC , slide a bed cleat down to the end and tighten , fits perfectly into the handle of the can

Everybody can sleep at night now

The beer was ok. I had it on draught and it was really good but out if the bottle it's was just ok.

I have left my jug strapped in since I did this mod and haven't seen any issues with movement.

I would say that is certainly road ready. The side to side, pushing forward and now bouncing up are all taken care of.

Not that you asked for it or that its worth anything, but I give you the Mr Salty approval providing those hooks have plenty of meat behind them to prevent from pulling out.

The rings aren't going to pull out especially as the result of the forces a 30lb can would put on them

    Never ever ever

the D-rings on the floor of the bed, are they meant to flop up and down at all? Mine spin but do not otherwise move and I wasn't sure if they are corroded or just not supposed to move.

I'll be doing this for my next road trip!
