I have 3" lift and I need a jack to carry on everyday. I found a (Scissor jack 5000 lbs) that will lift up all the way to 23.5 inc.

Question is.. Is it OK to use SCISSOR JACK on our 2nd gen truck? or maybe it's too hard to push it up?
    Any suggestion? please help...Thank u!

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
I am personally not a fan of scissor jacks, they just look like they'll kill me someday. But, it should be up to the job. I have used them on blocks of wood and stacked up bricks to lift mine before. So I know they do work.

A good farm jack (hi lift jack) would be ideal but you'd have to have some extras to fit to attachment points around your vehicle.

ARB makes an "X Jack" that is essentially an inflatable bag. These work well --> check it out

    Thank U for the Reply!
I usually don't go off roading. Just for peace of mine that I know I'm carrying a jack that will work just in case. Also, I was thinking to carry 1 jack stand for lil safety. Sorry I didn't mention that earlier. So, do u think it's OK to use Scissor Jack on our truck?

I use a scissor jack as well for both my Tundra and Tacoma's. They lift higher than the factory bottle jacks. Just like bottle jacks, they have to have a good base. Not safer or more dangerous than the bottle jacks, just different.
